"The Growth Duty" requires regulators to consider the economic consequences of their actions; be proportionate in their decision making; and to keep regulatory burdens to a minimum. The Duty came into statutory effect on the 29th of March 2017. The CAA report on the growth duty in the CAA Annual Report and Accounts.
